“I absolutely have no qualms in recommending the organisation to people, I now work in the NHS but always speak so highly and always recommend both you as an employer and as a service provider.”

Staff Nurse

Thank you again for your time, your openness, and the genuine respect you showed both to me and to [my daughter’s] situation. I left Beechwood with a deep appreciation for the work you and your colleagues do every day.

Beechwood College, Visitor

“As a newly qualified nurse I’ve been supported really, really well by my manager and progressed to senior staff nurse within a year of qualifying. The staff team here are amazing, I can’t fault them. They’d do anything for anyone.”

Staff Nurse

I had a lovely visit yesterday with my son, he was very happy and relaxed. I was so happy to see the bond that he has with the staff. We are so happy he has settled in well at Wentwood.

Wentwood Court, family member

“There is clear evidence of positive risk taking with level of risk reviewed regularly.”

Commissioner, Pinetree Court Hospital

“I gain a massive sense of achievement from my work and enjoy seeing the rewards in the improvement of student’s lives.”

Assistant Psychologist

Pinetree Hospital, Service Commissioner

I wanted to send a note to all of the team to say thank you so much for all of the care, compassion, kindness and respect you have shown to my Dad whilst he has been a patient at St Peters. I know he isn’t always easy to look after with his low moods and feisty attitude at times. There have been so many people that have come in contact with him and he has genuinely always expressed how much people look after him so well when I speak to him. I also got to witness this first hand when I visited; I saw how much he gets from his interactions with the team. His time out in the community is priceless and means a lot. Thank you to the driving team for wandering round and round the motorbike shop each week!
Thank you so much

St Peters, Family Member

“The tribunal were impressed by the level of support the patient receives, and the escorted leave that he is able to enjoy, for example to the local garden centre. he enjoys growing his own plants at St Peter’s.”

It is clear that the treating team are providing the best quality of life that they can for this patient in the circumstances of his condition and detention under Section 3.

St Peter’s Hospital, Tribunal Panel

Today was the first time (in 5 years) that I have been involved in a CTR with no recommendations. Literally not one thing that the panel or myself think you are not doing, or could be doing even a tiny bit better. This is a huge testament to the work that you are doing. I knew what to expect, having dialled in to meetings and recently visited – but the panel were all just hugely impressed.

Commissioner, Ty Brynteg
