The people we care for can be challenging at times, communication may not always be easy. However, when someone we support succeeds in their goals and overcome life’s everyday obstacles our staff share in their triumphs and go home knowing they have helped improve a life.
We operate hospitals, homes and a college across South Wales and South West England and we are regularly looking for more Support Workers to work in these services supporting adults with Mental Health, Neuropsychiatric and Learning Disability conditions or Special Education Needs.
Our hospitals are all specialist units, where you will be supporting teams of healthcare professionals to provide treatment, rehabilitation and care.
Our residential and supported living homes are small family-style units based in the community, where the people we support are encouraged to develop their independence and where you may be supporting them in day-to-day tasks like taking them shopping or supervising them as they cook their tea.
At Beechwood College, our further Education College for young adults with autism, our Support Workers accompany the students around to their daily classes and at weekends or the evenings might take them swimming or just hang out with them watching TV.
Career Progression
Existing Support Workers talk about the excellent career opportunities we offer as one of the best things about working for Iris Care Group.
You may come to us with no healthcare experience, but we can offer all our Support Workers the opportunity to build rewarding careers.
