Role Responsibilities 

We are looking for a band 5 occupational therapist who is interested in gaining experience at st peters hospital. This service provides care and psychological support to complex older adults with dementias and other neurological degenerative disorders. There is a wide MDT providing timed interventions within best practice models.

Manual handling and knowledge of equipment needs would be desirable.

Supervision and training are offered on a regular basis along with employees assistance scheme.

All staff who work in a service that is registered with Care Inspectorate for Wales (CIW) will be required to register with Social Care Wales from 1st October 2022.  You must also be prepared to work towards/undertake the necessary qualifications to meet the requirements to register.
