The role of Positive Practice Worker is integral to our organisational strategy to deliver truly person centred, evidence based and human rights driven approaches for all users of our services. This is a direct care role working in a clinical environment within our shift rotas. You will have an allocated amount of supernumerary time built into your work plan to complete the aspects of the role. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the service have continual access to a member of staff whose role it is to ensure adherence to person centred plans (including positive behaviour support plans) and to ensure and promote a continual focus on person centred outcomes across the service. To achieve this, you will work on one of our ICG services and will act as a guide and advisor for all staff, working to structured support plans. To succeed in this role you must have an interest in and commitment to the practice of clinical psychology as an applied science or will have a career aspiration in a related discipline. You will also be aware of current policy agendas relating to person centred practice, values-based practice and the need for services to continually focus on reducing restrictive interventions.
