From the initial full week induction we provide to new staff, we aim to ensure that our staff have the confidence and skills they will need to succeed in their roles. Additionally, we provide regular refresher courses to ensure that staff maintain their knowledge and expertise.
Our dedicated in-house Learning & Development Team are responsible for making sure all our staff have the skills, knowledge, and abilities that they will need to be the best they can be in their role. Their motto is:

Supported by specialist external trainers, they provide structured programmes as well as a variety of one-off courses to try out, including our management of challenging behaviour curriculum which is certified by Bild ACT as complying with the Restraint Reduction Network’s training standards.
We also run popular management progression workshops, which help aspiring and existing managers to hone their skills.
We are justifiably proud that so many people who joined the organisation at entry level have progressed their careers into senior management by accessing the learning and training opportunities we have made available to them.
