To mark the end of another incredible year at Beechwood College, the team welcomed friends, families, and professionals to the campus to celebrate the exceptional achievements of students and staff and bid an emotional farewell to this year’s graduates at the college’s Annual Awards Day.

This Year’s Theme: A Country Hoedown to Remember

The Annual Awards Day is always themed to reflect the incredible energy and spirit of the college’s community. This year, following the success of 2024’s Summer Luau, students and staff transformed the campus into the wild wild west for a vibrant cowboy-themed hoedown – complete with handmade decorations, signature mocktails, and special performances showcasing the talents of the students.

The celebration was the result of weeks of planning and creativity from across the college, and students played a central role in shaping the day and making it a celebration to remember.

Reflecting on a Year of Achievement

The 2024/25 academic year has seen students and staff members achieve significant accomplishments across all areas of the college. From outstanding achievements in education and academic progress, to work placements, involvement in the wider local community, and individual milestones – students at Beechwood College have continued to inspire the people around them, and will continue to do so long after their time at the college.

“Awards Day this year was, without a doubt, the best in my nine years at Beechwood. The speeches and performances were among the most powerful and moving I’ve ever witnessed—each one a testament to the talent, resilience, and spirit of our students. I am immensely proud of our community and everything we continue to achieve together. Throughout the day, many parents approached me to say this was the first time they truly felt seen, heard, and supported as a family. That meant everything. It was a truly amazing day—filled with joy, pride, and connection—and I couldn’t be more grateful. Next year, we’re aiming even higher: bigger, bolder, and better. Wishing our graduates every success for the future – reach for the stars!”
