About Peter Kinsey

With more than 35 years of health and social care experience in different roles across the sector, Peter Kinsey joined Iris Care Group as Chief Executive Officer in 2022 before moving in to the Chairman role.

Peter has previously been CEO of the Care Management Group/Achieve Together, and he has previously worked in the NHS as a Director of Mental Health Services and as a local authority Strategic Commissioning Manager.

A force for positive change and progress across the sector, Peter has also chaired Care England’s Learning Disability Group and been on the board of Learning Disability England. In 2023 Peter won the top honour in the prestigious Social Care Top 30 Awards, recognised nationally for his exceptional leadership and lifelong commitment to the sector.
