Our Nursing Care service, Pirton Grange
Located in Worcestershire, Pirton Grange is a specialist nursing home, supporting people over the age of 18 with a range of Neurological conditions such as dementia, Korsakoff’s syndrome, Huntington’s Disease & Acquired Brain Injury. We also support people with physical health needs and those whose behaviour may challenge as well as those with forensic histories.
Rated as Good by CQC, the service provides small wards dedicated to specific needs and conditions.

Pirton Grange’s clinical care is provided by Registered General and Mental Health Nurses, alongside a Paramedic, Physiotherapist and Support Workers. The service also has a designated Activities Coordinator who is responsible for delivering & arranging activities for individuals living at Pirton Grange, providing a stimulating environment to meet their emotional, social, physical & intellectual needs.
We offer a core model of support alongside 1:1 /2:1 support for those requiring this level of care. Care is aimed at supporting individuals with long term health and medical conditions which require clinical monitoring and support to ensure safe, personalised, and responsive care.
The team are trained to identify symptoms and changes to residents’ conditions ensuring a proactive approach to all aspects of each person’s care.
Pirton Grange consists of two buildings, The Orchard and Pirton House. Within The Orchard there are 4 units with individual bedrooms each with an ensuite toilet. Each unit provides access to communal lounges, offering opportunity for socialisation and relaxation as well as access to communal bathrooms. Our Elgar unit provides a high specification self contained environment for men whose behaviour may challenge.
Pirton House consists of its own self-contained fully functioning kitchen and communal lounge, with ensuite bedrooms on the first floor which can be accessed by lift for those who require it.
Both buildings are designed to account for the levels of needs and compatibility for each resident, ensuring that socialisation and independence opportunities are maximised, with a focus on person-centred care and support.
As well as beautiful accommodation that residents are encouraged to personalise to reflect their preferences and personalities, we also have extensive grounds.
Our lovely gardens are home to a vegetable patch, outdoor games, a lit courtyard, a sensory garden, as well as a donkey which everyone loves to go visit.
