Dr Vaughn Price is an experienced clinician who has worked within services for people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders for much of his professional life.
He holds a number of relevant qualifications, including a Bsc Psychology, a Msc Advanced Practice in Mental Health, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Following these academic achievements, he has continued to pursue training in Narrative Therapy, Attachment Therapy, ASD diagnostic measures (ADOS-2), and Positive Behavioural Support.
He has worked within a range of services that aim to support people to make positive changes to their lives. Post qualification, he specialised in children’s services and in services related to neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ASD, Intellectual Disabilities and ADHD. Within these roles he worked with individuals, families, schools, and medical teams to ensure that a holistic and evidence-based support package was carried out for each individual.
He joined Beechwood College as the Consultant Clinical Psychologist in July 2018 and is excited to be working with such a diverse and enthusiastic staff group to support and promote education and independence in an environment underpinned by a strongly evidenced-based system of care and education.
