We believe in supporting people to live the lives they want to live. Our aim is to support people to achieve the best quality of life by providing the right support at the right time, with a focus on independence, choice, and opportunity.

We take great care in finding the right home for each individual that we support, and working collaboratively with our partner Housing Associations, we aim to support people to find the best environment and tenancy for their individual needs.

Our services are supported by exceptional and experienced teams with a shared mission – to deliver excellent care and support people to live happy, independent, and fulfilling lives in the community.

Our teams are specially trained to deliver Active Support, empowering people to develop new skills and be active participants in all areas of their lives.

The people we support are at the heart of everything we do, and co-production is key to our approach to supported living. Our teams work in partnership with the individual, their families, and wider circles of support to develop tailored care and support plans.

We don’t limit people to just their basic care and support needs – we empower them to explore new skills, hobbies, and vocational opportunities, become active members of their communities, and achieve personal goals and aspirations that are meaningful to them.

Quality and Regulation

Our supported living services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).

We are committed to providing excellent care and support in line with local and national standards including Transforming Care principles, and CQC’s Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture framework. Our services are supported by a dedicated Quality team. The people we support are encouraged to join the Whispers Forum, a group of people we support across our supported living services who work directly with our Quality team to ensure our services are the best they can be, and are shaped by the experiences of the people who use them.

I would also like to say thank you for letting me join Whispers as it has arguably been life-changing for me, I wouldn’t have been able to do the kayaking or boccia if it wasn’t for the Whispers Forum!

It was so refreshing to meet 3 professionals that were knowledgeable and passionate about their roles within the group. I felt very reassured by all of you in particular Paulo regarding safeguarding and the security of the premises.

Just looking at my brother these days you can see in his features all the stress has gone and in its place we see a glow, and a sparkle in his eyes once again – something we would see only briefly previously however ever since he moved into his new home with Iris Care Group which was only at the end of Nov 2022, we saw these moments of genuine happiness becoming more and more each day and now all that stress is like a distant memory far away.
